The Railway Station Cafe is a great place to stop for lunch on your way through town or if you are joining us on one of our beautiful train journey's.  We have an incredible cabinet selection of delicious home baking and a tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch menu items for guests to enjoy.  


If you're in a Group and on a time schedule we have several group catering options to choose from and our team lovingly prepare and package, ready for you upon arrival.  Perfect for cycle groups, cruise, coach and corporate charters or events, we want to help make your tour an ease and have the catering ready for you.   Our Railway Station Cafe can also cater to more gourmet events and experiences on the train or at one of our train station venues; these can be fun and filling, through to gourmet menu's that really showcase our regions local ingredients.


Option 1: Choose 1 Savoury or Sweet, morning or afternoon tea selection, $13.50

Option 2: Choose 2 Savoury and Sweet, morning or afternoon tea selection, $19.50

Option 3: Mixed Platter selection, shared platter on board or at the station, $35

Option 4: Custom catering options designed specifically for your group's requirements, $20-90 per person, can include local delicacies and wine match and be served on the train.

Catering can be arranged by Carriage or Train Charter, we can also host events on the Kawakawa Station Platform or at Taumarere Station.
